If I Were In Your Shoes...

Well it’s been a while since I posted even though I said I would keep you guys up to date. It is taking me a bit of time to catch up since I started like 2 weeks late in the classes. It has been hard trying to do everything for all the classes.

I was supposed to be taking 7 classes but for some reason my guidance counselor added 1 more which was supposed to be for next semester in Jan. I’m taking Chemistry (Honors), Geometry(Honors), English II (Honors), Spanish II, Web Design I, World History, HOPE (Health Opportunies through Physical Education)and

the extra class Critical Thinking Skills. As you can see, that’s a lot but I’m going to do it.

So far I have A’s in all my classes. To make sure we are doing our work and understand it, oral exams are given. I have to call the teachers at certain points in the term, after sending in assignments, essays and quizzes. For Spanish class, I had to get a small mike because some of the assignments check on speaking skills.

Yesterday, my Spanish teacher sent me an email saying I was behind pace. My mom gets the same emails I get so she was on my case because I thought I had been ahead and told her so. When I checked, I was wrong so this morning I had to get up at 8:00 am to do some catching up. (I usually get up at 10:45 am  ).

For the Hope class I have to do exercise and stuff and write down how much and how long it took me. So, yes, I even get to work out my bod, EL G Nie style!
