Confused???

I await to see your smile.
I might forget you after awhile,
Because along comes someone else,
leaving me helpless and asking for help.

I am weak for these sort of things.
But this is the stuff that my life brings.
I want you and only you,
And then he comes and I want him too.

I know I love you, I really do.
I have expressed it, so you know it’s true.
I care for you so much
But I even care for him as such.

He is just a friend
And I don’t want our friendship to end.
He helps me a lot in things that I do
But then I stop and start thinking of you.

It’s so easy to write about you
but my courage won’t get me through.
I love you and I need you and I know you feel the same,
But then again, I still keep playing my little game.

I’ve told you about it and you say you understand
But what I need right now is a consoling hand.
I know that I am very confused
But I don’t want to end up being used.

Have faith in me, is all I ask,
to accomplish this small task.
Proclaiming freedom are the wings of birds;
But in proclaiming my love, “actions speak louder than words.”
